2007-2008 MRA Queen Rodeo Events: Compete in barrels, breakaway, team roping Past Rodeo Accomplishments: Minnesota High School Rodeo Association 2004 Pole Bending Champion, and Rookie of the Year Cowgirl, 2005 1st runner up High School Rodeo Queen, 2006 National Qualifier in Pole Bending. 2007 MRA finals competitor in the breakaway roping and barrel racing. Academic Achievements: Ridgewater Community and Technical College Deans List, and Phi Theta Kappa Member (honor society). Other Activities: 3 year Varsity Letter winner in basketball and softball. Hunting, fishing, riding colts Future Plans after College: Work in the Pharmaceutical field, continue to rodeo while starting a family If I had one wish come true, what would it be? For all young people to learn from past mistakes, to live in a place of positive influences, to teach the next generation our knowledge to help our nation grow in the correct direction, and to always strive for peace. Comments: I would like to continue to compete in rodeo in the barrel racing, breakaway roping, and team roping events. I would also like to compete in the Miss Rodeo America contest. Being born and raised a cowgirl, I have learned the dedication and passion that it takes to succeed not only in Rodeo, but in life as well. Rodeo is a challenging sport that has helped me develop as a rider, a teammate, and a leader while still allowing me to have the time of my life.
